Wild Kabn Kitchen

An Unforgettable Private Dining Experience

flames in the nighttime

A secluded dining experience shaped by fire, seasonality, and the wild character of the land, set on the edge of Loch Fyne, only an hour from Glasgow and two from Edinburgh.

In 2026, Wild Kabn Kitchen begins its next chapter. We are bringing together a new culinary team who will continue our focus on elemental cooking, while introducing a refreshed interpretation of our core philosophy: food born from fire, guided by nature, and grounded in place.

Our table sits within the same historic Victorian greenhouse on the private Ardkinglas Estate. Here, protected by glass yet surrounded by woodland and water, our evolving menu will continue to showcase the best of Scottish ingredients, gathered from land, shore, and sea — cooked simply and honestly over open flame.

This is an intimate, private dining experience offered exclusively to our members. Membership is included with every booking, granting access to limited events, chef-led evenings, and a small community of diners who value craft, provenance, and the quiet drama of cooking over fire.

New ideas. A renewed menu. The same soul at the heart of Wild Kabn Kitchen. Coming soon.

Eating In

To make life easier we provide a stocked organic larder with all the basic herbs, spices, oils and equipment you need to cook.

The Kabns each feature a two burner gas hob and small oven insert above the wood burning stove. Furthermore we also offer complimentary firewood, charcoal and a choice of the Big Green Egg BBQ or outdoor grill to cook on.  Please check out our FAQ for further details.

Just a 7 minute drive away is the Loch Fyne Deli which has lots of yummy goodies including fresh local eggs, vegetables, meat, fish and dairy produce.

Inveraray, which is a 20 minute drive away, has a small local supermarket too.

Restaurants

If cooking is not your thing or you want to get out and about there are some great restaurants around Loch Fyne and Argyll. Below are some of our favourite places to eat and drink.

Inver Restaurant Loch Fyne

The award winning Inver Restaurant is located a 25 minute drive south west of the Kabns. Described as a "small, characterful restaurant on the shores of Loch Fyne", it has a Scandinavian feel and aesthetic. They serve delicious food using local, seasonal produce with an à la carte lunch and fixed four course menu in the evenings. Chef Pam Burton was awarded "Chef of the Year" by the Good Food Guide 2020 and Olive Magazine provides a detailed review of the restaurant. Advance booking is recommended. Inver also has a Michelin Green Star.
