  • Kabn Cairngorms (Reservations Now Open)

Kabn Cairngorms builds on the exceptionally high standards established at Kabn Loch Fyne and extends them into a more remote Highland setting. It is a continuation of what Kabn has become known for: considered design, privacy, and a strong relationship with the landscape, expressed at a larger, more spacious (650 square foot, over twice the size of our cabins at Loch Fyne) and more luxurious scale.

Located within the Cairngorms National Park, the setting allows for greater seclusion and a deeper sense of being in the wild, while remaining true to the principles that define every Kabn stay.

Bookings are open ahead of the full reveal. Kabn Cairngorms builds on everything guests already associate with Kabn, expressed at a larger and more secluded scale. Further details will be shared closer to opening, with limited availability.

  • Where is Kabn Cairngorms located?

Kabn Cairngorms is set deep within the Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by mountains, forest and open wilderness. The exact location is shared privately with guests following booking, ensuring a sense of seclusion and privacy. The retreat lies approximately twenty minutes’ drive South from Aviemore; close enough for ease of access, yet far enough to feel entirely removed.

The parking area is easily accessible without the need for a specialist vehicle. From this point, guests continue on a short, immersive approach to the Kabn, allowing the sense of place to unfold.

  • Is Kabn Cairngorms wheelchair accessible?

Yes. This Kabn has been designed to offer full step-free access throughout the suite. Accessibility has been integrated seamlessly into the architecture and layout, ensuring guests who require wheelchair access can experience the same level of comfort, privacy and considered design as every Kabn stay.

  • The Kabn Experience

Kabn signatures are not defined by amenities, but by the feeling that settles in from the moment you arrive. Each stay is shaped by quiet design decisions, natural materials and an unhurried rhythm that allows the landscape to lead.

Among the signatures that quietly define the Kabn experience:

Stillness and privacy, with each retreat carefully positioned to ensure complete seclusion and a deep sense of calm.

Restful sleep, supported by natural organic linens, thoughtful lighting and an absence of unnecessary noise or distraction.

Design shaped by place, where architecture, materials and views work in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

Elemental rituals, from firelight in the evening to bathing and hydration experiences designed to slow the body and mind.

A gentle connection to nature, with paths, water and wilderness unfolding directly from the door, encouraging exploration without agenda.

An understated approach to luxury, where comfort, craftsmanship and care are felt rather than announced.

  • Cooking

The cabin includes a thoughtfully designed kitchen with an electric hob and Gaggenau oven, allowing guests to prepare simple meals. The space is intentionally pared back and beautifully considered, encouraging slow, uncomplicated cooking that complements the rhythm of the retreat rather than distracting from it. A selection of organic herbs, oils and spices are, of course, provided.

  • Rituals of Fire

The kabn features a wood-burning stove, bringing warmth, stillness and a natural rhythm to the space. Complimentary firewood is provided, allowing guests to settle in and let the evening unfold at its own pace.

  • The Art of Bathing in Nature

Set against the shifting light of the Cairngorms, the bedroom features an in-built bath positioned beside expansive glazing, where warm water and distant views meet in quiet balance. Framed by glass and sky, time slows, inviting unhurried stillness and restoration.

The cabin also benefits from both an indoor and outdoor rain shower, extending the ritual of bathing beyond the interior and into the wild.

  • Paths of Adventure

An endless network of paths unfold from the doorstep of the Kabn, leading through forests, along rivers and towards the Cairngorms peaks beyond. Walking, cycling or simply wandering, exploration here is unstructured and unhurried. Complimentary e-bikes are provided, allowing guests to adventure quietly and freely through the landscape at their own pace.

  • Arrival & Privacy

Our new Cairngorms cabin offers complete seclusion and privacy from the moment you arrive. Located on a private 4,000-acre estate, access is via a quiet track with parking nearby, followed by a short, easy walk to the cabin for a true “arrive and exhale” moment. The cabin sits entirely on its own, hidden within peaceful woodland and set beside a small loch, with no neighbouring cabins or public access in sight.

  • Silence & Stargazing

Our Cairngorms cabin is designed for guests seeking true peace and quiet. With near-complete silence (other than the surrounding wildlife), no traffic noise and no nearby town or village to disturb the tranquillity. Set deep within the National Park, the cabin is surrounded only by woodland, wildlife and the gentle sounds of nature, creating an incredibly calm and restorative atmosphere. With no light pollution and vast open skies, it’s also an exceptional place for stargazing, spotting constellations and enjoying dark-sky nights that feel worlds away from everyday life.

  • Dogs

Well-behaved dogs are welcome. The surrounding landscape offers exceptional access to miles of walking and exploration right from your doorstep. We simply ask that guests are mindful of the wildlife and the quiet nature of the retreat. We charge GBP 50 per dog stay (up to a maximum of 2 dogs) which includes a 10% donation to the Scottish SPCA as well as dog goodies on arrival.

  • Flexible Sleeping Arrangements

The cabin features a beautifully appointed super king bed, handcrafted by Scottish artisans and dressed in luxurious organic and fair trade linen for exceptional comfort. The bed can also be configured as twin singles, allowing the space to adapt effortlessly to couples, friends or solo travellers, without compromising rest or quality.
